Can teachers borrow laptops over the summer vacation?

I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a sign out form for my staff to borrow laptops over the summer to work on SmartBoard lessons, etc?

I encourage the teachers on my staff to take as much ownership as possible of the laptops we give them. If we place such restrictions on them, before we know it, four years have gone by and no one has really used them. I feel giving a technophopic teacher a laptop to take home and play with will allow them to become more comfortable with the technology and many of them will go on to buy their own.
