I've also maintained a list of good sites for students on my NY Learns website. I link the wikis and blogs through that site as well since it's so much easier to give out that one address and let them use the menu to find what they need.

I added a bunch of my favorite links on my library web page. I just feel its much easier to have a home base for the students to easily access the site they need.

www.apples4theteacher.com is a great site for all subjects areas. I have found great lesson helpers for my special ed. classes. I have also used teachertube.com. I've found great mini videos created by students to teacher about the presidents. My Special Ed. classes love it.

The free websites that I use for Kindergarten are: www.starfall.com; pbskids.org; and noggin.com.

Please share any other free website that can be used with K-2. Thanks
