About you (Tell us about yourself in a few words -- professional/personal, expertise/hobbies, inspirational quotes, etc)
I see technology as the key to reaching all students, any age, every language , every disability , every type of learner. Technology can tap into that abyss of the mind, that "gray area" that does exist with, the teacher to student, or the student to curriculum , or student to parent, or school to community. In any capacity we have to embrace the tools that technology has given us , and continually gives to our students all day , every day, globally. That's a lot to give and to get in one 24 hour period. How much can we as teachers provide, how can we expand the walls of our classroom without moving an inch? How much of the world can we bring to our teaching and how much of it should we leave out?
Bringing the world to our teaching, is such a dynamic concept yet it is our reality. Our students literally have the world at their fingertips everyday. It is our job to take this world of concepts and break them down into units of study and skills, in order to produce literate, productive human beings. My question is then , How do we serve the world to our students and how can technology enable us to to this effectively?
