Ms Conlan’s seventh grade class learned how to plan their meals properly. I realized that students are unaware of the nutritional value of their diets. They researched the
New Food Pyramid on the US government site and created a Healthy Diet using an
interactive menu planner on NIH site (National Institute of Health). They had to calculate calories and balance out the kinds of food needed daily.
